Born in Pasay City, Philippines, Tess Crescini graduated with distinction from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her poem, Tomato-Picking was published by Reed Magazine, a literary magazine of SJSU and her first short story fiction, Pinay from Pasay, was published in an anthology of Philippine American Short Stories Book.
