| Robert Burdette Sweet ("A Severed Tree") is Professor Emeritus of English at California State University and author of novels and short stories, including Blood Warm, a soon to be published novel about his travels around the island of Grenada in the 1950s. He also authored Writing Towards Wisdom: The Writer as Shaman, a comprehensive guide to creating great poetry, short stories and novels. | Joseph Lisowski ("City Lights", "Birthdays", "Long Distance") was Professor of English at the University of the Virgin Islands from 1986-1996 and is now teaching at Mercyhurst College North East along the shores of Lake Erie. Recent work appears in Stirring, Niederngasse, A Writer's Choice, Wired Art for Wired Hearts, New Works Review, 2 River View, Free Zone Quarterly, Born Magazine, among others.
