After graduating with a Degree in English from the University of Texas at El Paso, Loren spent the years since as a co-owner of a small restaurant, business credit-analyst with Dun & Bradstreet, private investigator, bartender/bar manager at a neighborhood joint, skip-tracer, door-to-door canvasser. At present, he plays the stock market while holding down an eight-to-five job with the US Postal Service. Loren draws creative inspiration from the struggles of the human spirit, endeavoring to attain a higher plane of existence, even through the hypocrisy that sometimes occurs in the process.

Loren is long-since divorced, but from that union came a wonderful, happily married daughter, who has given him two precious grandsons. He has recently settled into a never-ending relationship with a woman who is as beautiful to his mind as she is to his eye.
